Today Mercury Interactive Corporation, the global leader in business technology optimisation (BTO), announced that the Mercury Customer Support Organisation has been inducted into the Service & Support Professionals Association (SSPA) Hall of Fame.
Mercury is one of only nine companies ever to be inducted into the SSPA Hall of Fame. Mercury also received its fifth consecutive STAR Award for excellence in customer support at the 2004 SSPA Conference in Savannah, Georgia.
"Year after year Mercury has shown that it is dedicated to providing exemplary customer service and support," said Bill Rose, SSPA founder and executive director. "Mercury is an information technology support innovator and truly understands the value of customer success."
Mercury`s commitment to leading the software industry in customer service satisfaction is evidenced by its continued recognition from the SSPA. In previous years, Mercury earned the Support Centre Practices (SCP) Certification and the WebSTAR Award, which recognises companies that have delivered exceptional customer service and technical support via the Web.
"It is a great honour for Mercury to receive two of the highest awards in the software support industry," said Patrick Saeger, vice-president of customer support at Mercury. "Great support is important to our customers and these awards are a testament to Mercury`s dedication to providing superior service and helping customers optimise the business value of information technology."
Founded in 1989, the Service & Support Professionals Association (SSPA) was formed to focus on the specific needs of executives responsible for service and support centres and overall customer relations.
Today, the SSPA represents more than 24 000 service professionals at more than 2 700 support centres worldwide. These executives look to SSPA to provide insight into the future of support services, a road map of best practices within our industry and access to the best service and support industry vendors. SSPA has become the centre of support providing a reliable and comprehensive resource for conferences, news, research, benchmarking, standards and collaboration.
