Mercury Interactive Corporation, a leading provider of enterprise testing and performance management solutions, and F5 Networks, a leading provider of Internet Traffic and Content Management (iTCM) products, have announced that they will work together to deliver application performance management solutions to better detect, diagnose and prevent problems that affect Quality of Service levels.
Through F5`s iControl API (Application Programming Interface), F5 will integrate Mercury Interactive`s Topaz application performance management solutions with its iTCM products to receive information, such as alerts and performance data, to affect traffic management decisions and provide maximum application uptime and performance. Mercury Interactive will integrate F5`s iTCM server appliance to automatically collect core network information and to drive more detailed and informative alerts so application errors and downtime can be minimised or erased.
