Jadu unveils new Web 2.0 CMS products

Jadu, a provider of government CMS, has released a new range of Web 2.0 products designed to enhance the delivery of Web-based content and services, help organise information and improve communication.

This is according to Indian tech site AjaxWorld, which lists among the new products Jadu Multimedia (which enables videocasting and podcasting), XFORMS Professional (an e-forms solution integrating with CRM systems and enabling self-service), and Jadu Intranet 2.0 (a social computing Web portal for organising, publishing and blogging information within an organisation).

Australian Northern govt deploys CMS

The Northern Territory government in Australia has signed a contract for enterprise content management (ECM) and document management services across the entire state.

ComputerWorld in Australia reports: "The government has signed a contract for TRIM Context by Tower software. Currently the government has 3 000 to 4 000 concurrent users of TRIM."

This contract extends use of the software across the entire public service, and involves existing TRIM software being upgraded to TRIM Context 6. The Northern Territory government will pay continual annual maintenance on the licences that may eventually see 10 000 desktops using the software.
