Meridio named document management product of the year three years running

Meridio 4 Microsoft Office System 2003 has been named Product of the Year in the document management category at the 2003 Information Management Awards.

Meridio has won this award three years in succession. The Information Management Awards are respected for their openness and complete independence. Their concentration on the ability of innovative products to deliver identifiable real-world benefits to customers is seen as the supreme accolade by suppliers and customers alike.

"Meridio has in fact been an award-winner in the past four years. In 2002, Meridio won the Document Management Product of the Year with a joint entry with Microsoft for Meridio for SharePoint Portal Server," explained Liesl Muller, solutions marketing manager at ICL, the Meridio distributor in SA.

In 2001, Meridio won the Document Management Product of the Year award for its Integrated Electronic Records Management software product, Meridio RM. In 2000, Meridio won the Document Management Project of the year award and was awarded the prized gold award for the Premier Project of the year.

Muller said that over the last four years Meridio has emerged to become a driving force in the document and records management industry. "The Information Management awards acknowledge this strategic and technological leadership. Meridio`s unique approach allows formal document and records management benefits to stem from the normal and enhanced working practices available to every Microsoft user," she explained.
