Meridio wins partnership of the year award from the ISA

AmVia highlights the continuing strength of the Microsoft and Meridio alliance.
Johannesburg, 06 Dec 2005

Meridio, leading international providers of enterprise document and records management (EDRM) software, have been honoured by the Irish Software Association (ISA) for their ongoing alliance with Microsoft. Meridio was recognised as the fastest growing technology company in Northern Ireland in September 2005. The company also scooped fourth place in this year`s Deloitte Fast 50 technology awards.

Local distributors AmVia have supported the decision of partner Meridio to work closely with Microsoft from the start. Says Kevin Hurwitz, MD of AmVia: "It comes as no surprise that Meridio`s achievements have been recognised in this manner and received these awards. The partnership with Microsoft has strengthened an already formidable product, allowing Meridio to grow into the successful organisation it is today."

Meridio develops EDRM solutions exclusively for Microsoft platforms. The organisation has grown rapidly since it was founded in 2001, with its growth rate doubling in the last year to a remarkable 1 456%, and now provides superior solutions for both the public and private sectors. Meridio has achieved success in generating significant revenue from highly competitive export markets, and employs its own global sales force to assist Microsoft in their partnership.

Adds Hurwitz: "The ISA award and recognition from Deloitte are a great honour for Meridio, and in addition they serve to confirm that Microsoft made a wise decision on their initial investment in Meridio products."
