Metafuse releases project management tool
Metafuse, developer of mid-market Web-based project management solutions, announced the release of Project Insight Outlook Connector.
Because so many organisations have standardised on Microsoft Outlook for their day-to-day business needs, Project Insight offers this client-side add-on for synchronisation with Outlook, the company says in a statement.
Project Insight Outlook Connector synchronises Project Insight tasks with Outlook`s My Tasks and Outlook calendar. Project Insight team members may see project tasks from these views and also synchronise from Outlook to a mobile device or PDA.
Team members can enter time using the "hours" features in Outlook My Tasks. Once the tasks have been updated in Outlook, team members may update Project Insight by clicking on the synchronise button. Tasks may be updated on a PDA as well.
