MICROmega Technologies and T-Systems announce collaboration

Johannesburg, 24 Jul 2008

MICROmega Technologies, a MICROmega company and sole distributor of NetQoS software in Africa and the Middle East, will now work closely with T-Systems based on NetQoS technology.

“NetQoS technology was used to perform a very large data centre consolidation analysis in T-Systems' data centre,” says Danie Kleinhans of T-Systems IT Services Southern Africa.

“NetQoS has certainly proven its worth as a successful tool in terms of T-Systems' own Applied Performance Management services.”

According to Tony Rolston, CEO of MICROmega Technologies, the NetQoS Performance Centre provides an integrated, organisation-wide view of critical performance data derived from applications, servers and networks.

“With this visibility, customers can ensure consistently high application service levels, make more informed decisions based on precise network infrastructure usage data, improve staff efficiency, and resolve performance issues rapidly,” he says. “Our own on-hand immediate support for all NetQoS clients, as well as our knowledge and expertise of the product, ensures the success of our partnerships.

“This joint engagement highlighted the benefits to both parties of working closely as a team to meet the customers' requirements and represents just the beginning of what we plan to be an extremely beneficial relationship for all parties involved,” he concludes.
