Micromuse Inc, the leading provider of ultra-scalable, real-time business and service assurance software, today announced that Peter Willemse has been appointed to the newly created position of technical director for SA.
Willemse will provide technical support to Micromuse`s fast-growing and diverse base of service provider and enterprise customers in SA. He joins Micromuse from Internet Solutions, SA`s leading full network and converged services provider in SA, where he was senior technical engineer and network management systems architect. He will provide technical expertise to mobile service providers such as Vodacom and MTN; managed service providers including Internet Solutions and a number of financial institutions that have deployed Micromuse`s Netcool solutions for service assurance. Willemse will also support Micromuse`s channel strategy in SA, by working closely with partners such as Dimension Data and Cisco Systems to ensure the Netcool solution delivers optimal value to network-centric organisations in SA.
