AXiZ has announced that Microsoft Office Professional 2000 is now available in DSP (Delivery Service Partner) product, and is available from AXiZ offices countrywide with immediate effect.
"We now offer a choice for our small business customers - they can choose either Microsoft Office Small Business, or Microsoft Office Professional," says Justin Agar, software and peripherals product manager at AXiZ. "One of the best things about this offer is that there is no longer one `best` suite for small businesses. Small businesses are now given the flexibility to choose the version of Office that best meets their needs, ranging from a core set of tools to a much more comprehensive set."
Regardless of which suite they chose, customers will get the small business tools and Publisher, along with the core Office applications they need.
Office 2000 Professional contains two elements not contained in Office Small Business 2000 - Microsoft Access and Microsoft PowerPoint.
Microsoft Small Business Tools are comprised of four different tools:
Small Business Customer Manager
Helps small businesses unify their accounting data and personal productivity software to achieve more effective customer tracking, analysis, and communication. Includes database wizard, filters, enhanced data fields, personalized settings, activity tracker, and more.
Business Planner
Provides small businesses with a "business consultant in-a-box" that gives them a set of tools, information, and templates to help them grow and run their business. Combines content from the latest editions of five leading business reference books with over 100 productivity templates/worksheets, almost 700 Web links, and directory information.
Small Business Financial Manager
Works with Excel to help small business owners make better use of their business data. Easily create dynamic/customisable financial reports/charts, perform valuable "what-if" analyses, and "mine" accounting information to make better business decisions.
Direct Mail Manager
Utilizes Microsoft wizard technology and the Web to help small businesses easily develop targeted and cost-effective direct mailings using Word or Publisher. Includes address verification wizard, direct mail primer, and links to address list and mail service vendors.
"With these tools, small businesses can take control of their planning, finances and mail, as well as getting the key PC applications required to run their business," says Agar.
