Microsoft South Africa hosts Developer Days

Microsoft South Africa is hosting three Developer Days in Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town. These events will focus on Microsoft`s integrated developer toolset, Visual Studio .NET, and the .NET Framework equipping developers to build the next generation of applications that will power the Web.

Developer Days are scheduled to take place at the following venues and dates:

  • .         Johannesburg: 7 November at Vodaworld

  • .         Durban: 13 November at the Durban Hilton

  • .         Cape Town: 20 November at The Cape Sun

  • Based on XML and open Internet protocols, the .NET building tools focus on creating and assembling business-to-business and business-to-consumer Web services.

Microsoft`s .NET platform enables the creation and use of XML-based applications, processes, and Web sites as services that share and combine information and functionality with each other by design, on any platform or smart device, to provide tailored solutions for organisations and individuals.

To register, or view a full agenda, developers can visit http://www.microsoft.com/southafrica/devdays or telephone 0860 2255 67.
