Microsoft tags the business process

Microsoft will ship its BizTalk Server 2006 Release 2 in the first half of 2007.

BizTalk Server 2006 R2, a business process management (BPM) server that helps customers integrate applications within MS environments, connects frequency identification (RFID) devices to business processes, the company announced.

RFID provides identification, relying on storing and retrieving using RFID tags or transponders.

AccuData America picks Bluespring`s BPM suite

Bluespring Software, a BPM software company, announced that AccuData America, a PRIMIS company, has selected Bluespring`s BPM Suite to manage its complex, quote-to-cash sales process.

AccuData America, one of the largest providers of data and data solutions in the country, has more than 130 members of their staff dedicated to sales and the sales process, says CRM Today.

When evaluating the workflow of this team, it was recognised that there were areas that could be easily improved through and business process management.

BPM benefits financial services

Ultimus, has released a whitepaper on the benefits of using BPM within the financial services industry, the company announced.

According to a Delphi report (Delphi BPM Market Report 2005), 49% of organisations surveyed are planning initial BPM deployments within the next 12 months.

The Ultimus publication, titled "Financial Services Insight", highlights the key benefits of process automation within the financial services industry.
