MicroStrategy, Sybase partner for BI

Business intelligence (BI) vendor MicroStrategy has partnered with Sybase to promote its products and solutions, says CRN.

Sybase and MicroStrategy plan to combine their core expertise in BI, data integration, and data warehouse technologies to help customers efficiently manage their data and rapidly gain insights into business performance.

Under this marketing alliance, the two vendors will organise conferences in seven cities across the country.

Cincom Systems has released a BI module to support real-time analytical reporting for the Enterprise Compliance and Quality Management (ECQM) suite, states MyFen.

ECQM is a single integrated software solution that ensures compliance with industry and regulatory requirements.

Cincom's Compliance and Quality Business Intelligence module enables users to drill down into underlying data generated by the operational Cincom ECQM applications and other supporting external systems.

Following a series of major customer, product, partner and company milestones, PivotLink has solidified its lead in the software-as-a-service (SaaS) BI market with record growth across all areas of its business, according to EarthTimes.

PivotLink is racing ahead with its growth strategy following the $10-million round of venture capital financing in Q1 led by StarVest Venture Partners, an outside venture capital investor in NetSuite.

The company says its PivotLink's cloud-based SaaS BI solution is the de facto standard for business analysis, reporting and dashboarding, with customers benefiting from the scalability and analytical power of enterprise-class BI at a fraction cost of traditional BI approaches.
