MicroWorld Technologies is providing a free security checkup and repair for viruses and other malware in computers.
Users can download the free version of MWAV. This version will scan and clean a computer of malware threats, with the latest updates, up to 15 February.
"Many a time, the first-time users of MWAV are shocked to find out that they were living with some nasty Trojans and spyware in their computers for months and years," says Manoj Mansukhani, head of technology and marketing, MicroWorld.
"There's no need install the software, as you can just download and run the toolkit and scan the computer right away," says Mansukhani.
"MWAV gives you the option to add it to the startup list of programs on your computer so that the toolkit scans your computer every time you start using it."
MicroWorld also offers eScan, MailScan and eConceal, targeted at enterprises and home users.
