MidlandHR's iTrent powers Ofgem

Ofgem has renewed its contract with MidlandHR for a further four years, according to Personnel Today.

The organisation will upgrade to a hosted, fully integrated iTrent solution encompassing a wide range of functionality to support their needs from HR and payroll to workforce planning, human capital and talent management.

Ofgem's head of payroll and pensions, Julie Young, explains: “This renewed partnership demonstrates MidlandHR's absolute dedication to the provision of payroll to our employees and will no doubt continue in a manner that will ensure future , as the legislation which governs payroll changes and grows in complexity.”

Frontier, Payment Adviser

Human resources and payroll solutions tech firm Frontier Software has selected Payment Adviser's SuperPay system to enable the payment of overnight superannuation contributions, reports Financial Standard.

Payment Adviser's service, SuperPay, connects all superannuation participants from employers and staff through to superannuation funds, their administrators and regulators. The system allows one day processing times for member's contributions.

"Regular employee contributions to super will be treated like all other payroll transactions and are able to be invested almost immediately," says Nick Southcombe, GM of Frontier Software Australia.

Emap outsources HR functions

Emap has outsourced its HR, payroll and employee benefits delivery to allow it to focus on growing the business, says HRmagazine.

The media firm, which publishes magazines including Retail Week and Aesthetic Medicine, outsourced its HR functions to NorthgateArinso, integrating all HR processes onto one online platform.

Tracey Gray, performance director at Emap, said: "Outsourcing the HR, flexible benefits and payroll functions to a single consistent point of contact will not only free up managers' valuable time, but will ensure all HR processes are supported by a single supplier from the day the employee starts in the business until the day they leave."
