Minolta South Africa, the principle distributor of Konica Minolta products in SA, will continue with its intensive business focus at this year`s Futurex exhibition by introducing the interactive boardroom concept at its stand.
The boardroom concept, which is in line with the company`s emphasis on office solutions rather than just office products, will dominate the activity at the stand. It will provide a unique opportunity for businesses to interact with Minolta`s highly experienced product team on a one-on-one basis, allowing visitors to benefit by making proper use of their time at the stand by adding an interactive element rather than simply collecting brochures.
The product team will present various topics within the boardroom environment. These topics are relevant to all businesses and include astounding facts about the affordability of colour, world-class electronic document delivery, tracking cost and accountability, productivity, multifunctional solutions and document management.
"The office automation industry has re-aligned itself dramatically over the past three years with more and more people looking to buy copies and prints rather than copiers and printers. The emphasis has shifted towards solutions, rather than hardware sales," says Minolta South Africa product director Peter Enslin.
In line with this focus Minolta will also focus heavily on its various software solutions, including its enterprise content management solution; document accounting solutions which allow companies to monitor, measure and manage all documents as well as integrated workflow management solutions.
Added to this, demonstrations of the latest products will also be under way throughout the exhibition. A number of new products will be on display for the first time at Futurex. Among these are the CF2203 and CF5001. The CF2203 is an entry-level multifunctional colour printer/copier/scanner. The CF5001 is an award winning colour copier/printer aimed at the high-end production market. The CF5001 can cater for volumes of up to 150 000 pages per month. Minolta will also introduce the 1610, 1611, 2011 and 7210 digital copiers for the first time.
The Minolta professional cycling team will be at the Minolta stand throughout the exhibition. A pair of Minolta binoculars will be awarded to the person able to accurately guess how far the team has cycled.
