Minolta South Africa has introduced Minolta Information Xchange (MiX), a new document delivery solution aimed at addressing the changing trends in fax technology, reducing document delivery costs by up to 90%.
Minolta fax division product manager, Charl Vogel, says adopting MiX is all about the finding the right "mix" of technology to deliver critical business documents reliably, economically and securely. "By combining fax, Web and e-mail technologies to provide a full e-document delivery solution, we have developed a product that meets the changing needs of our clients.
"The MiX solution will reduce document delivery costs by up to 90% by increasing productivity and eliminating the need to install and manage multiple standalone fax machines. In fact, we are so confident in our solution that, if we cannot show a client an improved total cost of ownership using its existing PC and network infrastructure, we will donate R1 000 in the company`s name to any charity of its choice," says Vogel.
MiX enables employees to send and receive faxes from their desktop computers, provides reliable electronic delivery and receipt of business-critical documents, while eliminating manual processes such as printing, mailing or manually faxing documents.
Vogel says Minolta deploys MiX project teams to assess clients` needs and establish the most suitable document delivery solutions for their organisations. "Based on the results of a needs analysis, we will direct the client on the best technology 'mix` for their particular situation," he says.
