Seven Minolta products received "Pick of the Year" honours earlier this month when Buyers Laboratory, Inc (BLI) announced this year`s selections.
More than 120 devices, in five different categories, were eligible for "Pick of the Year" recognition, and only the most outstanding products that excel throughout BLI`s rigorous, three-month test are chosen to receive "Pick of the Year" awards.
To be chosen as a "Pick of the Year" tells business consumers and the industry that these products have clearly proven to be among the very best in their product categories when subjected to BLI`s extensive in-house testing, and confirms that these products can be counted on for superior performance.
Minolta director, Peter Enslin, says: "While we are always pleased when our products receive awards, this year we are most proud of the fact that such a wide range of Minolta products were selected for `Pick of the Year` recognition."
Two of Minolta-QMS` monochrome laser printers took honours, with the PagePro 9100N coming out tops in the mid-size to large workgroup category, while the 1250W for selected in the small office, home office category.
Minolta digital copier product manager, Paul Symonds says the Di152f with Pi1802e controller received honours in Segment 1 Multifunctional Imaging Systems, while the Di650 with Pi6500 Pro controller and the Di850 with Pi8500 Pro controller were selected as recipients of the awards in segment 4 and 5 Multifunctional Imaging Systems respectively.
It came as no surprise to colour product manager, Marianna Gdanis, when the DiALTA CF3102 and CF2002 with CN3102e controller received "Pick of the Year" awards in the category of Full Colour Multifunctional Imaging Systems. "These two products have received numerous awards from a range of sources on an international basis," she says.
