Minolta-QMS has introduced the Magicolor 2300DL, its smallest and most affordable colour laser printer to date, featuring print speeds of four colour pages per minute and 16 black-and-white pages per minute.
Minolta-QMS laser printer division product manager, Johnny Burger, says the Magicolor 2300DL will retail at a highly competitive price of R9 999 including VAT, challenging cost-effective, yet low quality inkjet printers. "This affordably priced laser printer will be popular with home users and is powerful enough to service small workgroups," he says.
The 2300DL is compatible with Windows XP, 2000, NT4, Me, 98, and 95 and includes built-in 10/100Base TX Ethernet, parallel interfaces for seamless connectivity.
With innovative new polymerised toner technology, this desktop laser printer delivers colour in 2400 x 600dpi resolution with fine lines, improved halftones and better image quality. Its automatic colour calibration provides reliable colour quality with no speed penalty.
A multi-purpose input tray accepts A4 paper, labels, envelopes, transparencies and heavier paper stocks. For further productivity, a duplexer can be added for automatic two-sided printing.
The 2300DL has a standard 32MB RAM and can support up to 288MB RAM for enhanced performance.
