The launch of the DiALTA Colour CF5001 will open up new possibilities for the print-for-pay and corporate markets, with the introduction of an affordable machine traditionally only within the reach of high volume production environments.

This attractively priced colour output station not only has robust state-of-the-art performance power needed to meet the requirements of heavy-duty production environments but also makes high volume colour output an affordable option.

The CF 5001 will be available with the very latest in print and controller technology, with impressive hourly performance figures of 3 060 A4 pages, 1 620 A3 pages and 1 500 A4 duplex pages. However, it is on the monthly output volumes that the CF5001 really proves its mettle, producing a maximum volume of 100 000 full-colour A4 pages on a monthly basis.

State-of-the-art technology makes this performance possible. A high precision laser controls a four drum print engine while the latest tandem technology ensures high performance delivery.

No picture of the CF5001`s performance would be complete without reference to its media flexibility, online finishing options, high-end controller and remote diagnosis capability. The CF5001 can handle paper from 256 g/m2 from the large capacity cassette and manual bypass and up to 209 g/m2 from all standard trays in formats ranging from A5R to A3 full bleed. Finishing options include stapling, sorting, centre folding, three folds, punching, cover inserting and booklet trimming - all important functions in a production environment.

The high-end Pentium 4 controller with its stable Windows XP operating system offers super fast RIP times, fully supports media and finishing functions and allows online management of print data. The standard software package includes administration tools and basic variable data printing utilities with an option for the sophisticated Print Shop Mail software. Last but not least, the CF5001`s overall performance is boosted by a remote diagnostic system which maximises operating uptime.
