Minolta South Africa has introduced the award-winning bizhub C450, a multifunctional colour copier / printer / scanner aimed at the office environment and copy shops that outputs colour pages at 35 pages per minute (ppm) and monochrome pages at 45ppm.
Minolta South Africa colour division product manager, Marianna Gdanis, says the bizhub C450, the successor to the BERTL`s award-winning CF3102, is expected to gain huge market share in SA, and has already received the prestigious BERTL`s Best 2005 Award (Best 30 - 39ppm Office Colour MFP).
"The bizhub C450 is a central communication hub and represents Minolta South Africa`s communication vision based on the principles of access, knowledge and cooperation," says Gdanis.
The bizhub C450 offers an enriched set of features, faster processing and expansive network management capabilities. In addition, innovative technology developed exclusively for the professional environment ensures the machine provides seamless copy, scan, fax and print functionalities.
High-speed, high-quality colour and monochrome prints are a characteristic of the bizhub C450, the result of advances made by Konica Minolta in colour imaging. A four-colour tandem engine in the bizhub C450 assures true and consistent colour for printing and copying and the device`s high quality, low consumption polymerised toner (Simitri) guarantees professional colour results from the first copy to the last, no matter how large the print run is.
The bizhub C450 offers a wide range of finishing options and is equipped with a standard automatic duplex that accommodates paper up to A3 in format and up to 256g/m^2 at 100% performance. With mixmedia, the user can define the print job per page and determine which paper tray and media type should be used.
Online finishing ranges from single staple up to booklet with cover. In addition, the Proof Print and Proof Copy, the result can be checked before a large print run starts, ensuring the user gets what is expected. The machine`s PDF compression capabilities simplify the sharing of scanned documents with customers and business partners via e-mail.
