It has been one year since Minolta South Africa took the decision to standardise on Captaris RightFax, and the company has not looked back, says National Sales Manager, Chris Kruger.
"At the time at which we made this decision, we were supplying various fax solutions to the marketplace, in addition to RightFax. This unfortunately resulted in a lot of confusion among our sales reps and we felt that our customers` interests were not being well served in this manner. So we took a strategic decision to standardise on the best available solution, RightFax," he adds.
The decision has paid off for Minolta and the company is now one of the biggest resellers and implementers of RightFax in the South African market. Kruger says having a single fax product to focus upon and specialise in, has made Konica Minolta reps more confident and more effective.
The company`s sales team recently completed a RightFax sales course with RightFax distributor, AmVia. In addition, according to Kruger, Minolta has the biggest team of RightFax certified engineers in SA.
