Minolta`s Dialta CF3102, CF2002 receive Bertl five star `exceptional` rating

Johannesburg, 07 May 2003

Minolta`s DiALTA CF3102 and CF2002 colour copier/printers have been awarded a five star "Exceptional" rating from Bertl Test Lab for their "combination of high print and copy productivity, functionality, extensive finishing options and aggressive price point".

The Bertl lab report says the CF3102 and CF2002 "deliver high copy and print productivity, unique finishing options, extensive print on demand capabilities, the industry`s most advanced copier memory functionality and a 30% price advantage over its main competitor".

Bertl awards the five star "Exceptional" rating to products that are innovative, productive, highly functional, have great design qualities, outstanding image quality and a great price point. Bertl tests approximately 200 different competitive products each year and historically, only six to 12 of those products receive the prestigious five star "Exceptional" rating.

Minolta copier division product manager, Marianna Gdanis, says Minolta is thrilled that the CF3102 and CF2002 colour copier-printers have been recognised by Bertl with a five star rating once again.

"Last year our CF1501 and CF2001 received the award. Product evaluation by testing labs such as Bertl should give consumers confidence that our colour products do what we say they will, which is provide outstanding colour output at a very affordable price," says Gdanis.

The Bertl report complimented the CF3102 and CF2002`s high productivity across both print and copy jobs; scan ahead, copy reservation capability; high proportion of user replaceable parts; aggressive pricing; extensive print on demand capabilities; and wide range of network scanning capabilities.
