Mirial appoints sales VP

Mirial, an Italian provider of products and solutions for audio/video communication over converged networks, has appointed Brice Drogosch as VP for sales, America, reports TMCnet.

Being a veteran in the visual communication industry, Drogosch brings a strong expertise in the company's market to his new role, along with global sales and marketing skills developed in former positions.

In Mirial he will manage sales for the company's line of video conferencing and visual communication products within North and South America, reporting directly to the company's CEO.

Epson unveils robust projectors

Epson has introduced four new projectors optimised for the classroom with features that make them easy to use, inexpensive to operate, and extremely effective for both teachers and students, according to Producer Magazine.

The new PowerLite 84, 85, 825, and 826W offer extended lamp life up to 6 000 hours, a built-in closed captioning decoder, USB plug-and-play technology, a powerful internal 10-watt speaker, network connectivity for remote presentations (via wired LAN), and optional connectivity.

The new models are also the first to offer a dedicated microphone input, allowing teachers to amplify their voice using the internal speaker to ensure all students can hear.

Peerless, BBG team up

Peerless Industries, a professional-grade audio/visual mounting solutions company, is partnering exclusively with BBG , a distributor of European brands in the audio/visual attachment and peripheral market throughout the UK, TMCnet reports.

This distribution partnership expands Peerless' product reach and enhances BBG's product offering throughout the UK.

The new agreement provides one-stop shopping for a full complement of innovative audio/visual mounting solutions in both the retail and commercial marketplace throughout the UK.
