Mitel, Datacentrix sign partnership agreement

Communications solutions specialist, Mitel, has appointed Datacentrix as a local Platinum Partner in order to assist in growing market share in SA.

Mitel is a market leader for voice, video and data convergence over broadband networks. The company`s IP telephony solutions extend from intuitive desktop appliances and applications through to applications and services gateways that enable business process integration and enhancement.

According to Martinus Pretorius, business unit manager: networking at Datacentrix, Platinum Partner level represents Mitel`s highest level of partnership. "This certifies Datacentrix to deliver Mitel`s most sophisticated voice over IP and IP telephony technologies. With Platinum status, Datacentrix also gains access to a rich array of benefits including access to the training and support to gain a competitive advantage in the marketplace."

From the Datacentrix perspective, the relationship with Mitel will open up a part of the market not traditionally focused on by the company.
