MN Systems merges with Lorge to create Sage solutions powerhouse

Accpac accounting and business software solutions provider MN Systems has merged with Woodmead-based Lorge, the Sage ERP Accpac, X3 and CRM specialist in the Logic Group, in a move that offers companies using Sage Accpac a broadened implementation, service and skills support base.

Lorge managing director Derek Porter said the merger has created a strong support capability with 40 technically skilled staff focused on Sage ERP Accpac, Sage CRM and Sage ERP X3 accounting and business software products and solutions.

Lorge, which has been in business for 25 years, also provides Qlikview business intelligence solutions.

“Marc Chapman, the founder and owner of MN Systems since 1992, will take responsibility for sales and new business development, supported by senior, highly experienced consultants who have many man-years of operational and technical experience. This will add considerable value to the sales, support and services capability of Lorge,” added Porter.

Chapman said the market had always regarded MN Systems as a highly competent operation in terms of technical know-how and support.

He added that Sage Accpac software continues to move with the times to meet the challenges posed by modern business. “Sage Accpac is a well-established, mature and constantly evolving solution. Version 6 has just been launched and a full Web-based solution is on the way.”
