Mobiletripsheet, a new product from Vox Telepreneur, is set to help motorists save thousands by making it easy to keep SARS-compliant logbooks of their vehicle odometer readings and expenses.
“It is now essential for employees with car allowances, freelancers and small business owners to keep accurate log books,” says Vox Telepreneur's Bryan Coleby. “It can save them thousands in tax each year. But many people find it inconvenient to keep a paper logbook - with mobiletripsheet they can do it directly on their cellphones.”
Users can upload their mobiletripsheet data to a secure Web site with a single click. “All you need to do at the end of each trip, or when you fill up with fuel, is to enter your odometer reading and upload it to the Web site,” says Coleby. “Then it's easy to visit the Web site at your leisure later on to update the rest of the details, such as the destination and purpose of your trip - or you can do it directly on your phone.”
Logbook data from the Web site can be printed out, or downloaded in Excel format - and the site also provides fuel efficiency data.
“We believe mobiletripsheet offers a great deal of value to motorists and we're very pleased to be able to offer it to all our Vox Telepreneur customers,” says Coleby.
The software costs R299, including VAT, for a two-year subscription. For more information, visit http://www.vox.co.za.
