Mobility has the ability to become a company's biggest conundrum - given its ability to both drive and disrupt the business.

"Companies are actively seeking ways to make mobile workforces more productive, attract consumers through mobile initiatives, secure the enterprise and develop solutions that provide for seamless integration from mobile devices through to the back-end," says Fay Humphries, events programme director for ITWeb Events.

"Focus areas here need to cover external clients, internal efficiencies and effectiveness, and the technical aspects of getting it right."

The ITWeb Mobility Summit 2014, to be held in Johannesburg on 14 May, will help those with a mobility mandate to navigate current and future changes and challenges of an ever-evolving mobility environment.

The event, which is themed 'Mobility. Business Unusual', is geared towards a valuable learning experience, with high-level talks, practical case studies, interactive discussions, and extensive opportunities.

A call for papers has been issued, inviting experts in the mobility space and related fields to share their experience and knowledge. They should present on strong case studies and insights into the mobility landscape, technologies, applications and strategies.
