Broadband access, cloud computing and mobile technology are the three trends in enterprise communications making waves not only in SA, but other emerging markets as well.

This is according to Brett St Clair, head of Google Mobile SA. He says there will be a lot more collaboration between enterprises and SMEs, and that this is where the benefit of Web-based communications will be seen.

Web-based communications will take the pain out of IT infrastructure for SMEs, says St Clair, pointing to tools that enable collaboration on various aspects of business as real-life examples.

St Clair is a speaker at the ITWeb Business Communication forum, taking place at the Forum, in Bryanston, on 22 November. The forum will address communication technologies and how to reduce those costs for an organisation.

St Clair will address the future of business communications as well as give a preview of what Google is bringing to the market in terms of enterprise communication.

“The most intuitive products are built on the most scalable infrastructure.”
