The NVIROMON-1S is an environmental monitoring system that offers 24/7 monitoring and controlling of remote sites, specially designed for the data centre market.
With the growth in the data centre market and the need for improved data access and availability, there is a growing demand for the remote and constant management of data centres. The NVIROMON-1S, available through Comztek resellers, enables managers and users to monitor their environment, alerts them to issues, provides them with reports and allows for the remote control of situations.

The NVIROMON-1S provides environmental monitoring of temperature, humidity, liquid flooding and offers a ventilation air flow meter. By means of its access control monitoring, it is able to observe and keep tabs on fingerprint scanners and keypad readers and control magnetic or strike door locks, IP-based video cameras as well as alarm beacons and sirens.
Additional benefits include power monitoring and management, for example, controlling air conditioners and monitoring mains and UPS power failure, as well as fire detection and control, for example, smoke and heat detection, gas detection and fire suppression via maintenance-free oxygen displacement. It can also perform remote monitoring and control for GSM and 10/100 Ethernet interfaces.
While its uses are far-reaching, it is best applied in areas where applications are needed to provide the monitoring and management of environmental conditions, access control, fire detection and extinguishing, as well as electrical power control.
“The systems are flexible and a range of Netshield external sensors or external sensor probes and control equipment can be added to the NVIROMON-1S, depending on the alarm management required. Alert notifications are also pushed to the user via SNMP trap, e-mail, SMS and/or a graphic user interface,” ends Dreckmeyr.
