More than 1 200 Navision partners from all over the world have signed up for the Navision World Conference taking place on 18 and 19 May at Bella Congress Centre in Copenhagen, Denmark. The conference is the biggest company event since the merger between Navision Software and Damgaard in December last year.

"We regard the large number of partners that have signed up as an indication that the merger between Navision Software and Damgaard has been met with a positive response from our network of partners," says Ren'e Stockner, Navision`s Executive Vice President of Worldwide Operations.

Navision - which is one of the world`s largest providers of end-to-end and integrated business solutions for small and medium-sized companies - conducts its sales exclusively through a network of resellers. This international sales network of more than 2 000 resellers have developed a vast range of industry-specific solutions based on a Navision platform.

An important part of activities at Navision is knowledge transfer, making the conference a great opportunity for Navision partners to obtain new and updated information. This includes, among other things, new knowledge on the latest developments in Navision`s complete range of integrated business solutions, which includes e-business and customer relationship management functionality and portal solutions. At the same time, the Navision World Conference is an important forum for partners to exchange knowledge and experiences.

"We consider the Navision World Conference a great opportunity for knowledge transfer. Not just from Navision to the partners, but also between the more than 1 200 participants in the conference. With the high rate of participation, both Navision and its partners will have optimal conditions to exploit the vast knowledge to be found among Navision partners," says Stockner.

Navision Corporate Management, core developers, alliance partners and other keynote speakers will give presentations at the conference. Among the key note speakers are John Cleese, actor, leading business motivator, and founder of Video Arts, the world`s largest provider of business training programs, and Jaclyn Easton, one of the top Internet business experts in the US and Emmy Award-winning news reporter.
