Asus has launched its new A8V Deluxe motherboard bundled with a -g add-on card and support for AMD`s latest Socket 939 Athlon 64 processor to handle future 64-bit operating systems.

The WiFi-g -based WLAN card provides access point (AP) functions and an interface for easy wireless local area network (WLAN) setup. The WiFi-g can serve as an AP to connect multiple devices to the Internet wirelessly or as a wireless adapter for PCs to connect to existing WLANs.

Asus claims its A8V Deluxe boasts the fastest system bus at 1000MHz to access existing WLANs, providing a bandwidth of 8GB/s for high-speed data transfer. Support for AMD`s latest Socket 939 Athlon 64 FX and Athlon 64 processor makes the motherboard compatible with current 32-bit and future 64-bit operating systems.
