The Sandton Motorola Customer Service Centre has been redesigned and renamed.
Lipton Griffin International (LGI), authorised distributor of Motorola handsets and accessories, says the rebranded centre in Katherine Street is now called the Intelligence Centre, and specialises exclusively in the Motorola brand. It is now the largest Motorola service centre in the Europe, Middle East and Africa region, says LGI.
The centre is intended to serve as a "one-stop customer sales centre for Motorola phones and original accessories" as well as offering in and out of warranty repairs. The centre services an average of 4 000 phones per month with a guaranteed 48-hour turnaround on repairs.
Greg Lipton, GM of LGI, says the new name, Intelligence Centre, is in line with Motorola`s 'Intelligence Everywhere` pay-off line.
"The new name and set-up of our Intelligence Centre is more than a cosmetic make-over, it is representative of the extent of our commitment to service delivery and supporting the Motorola brand."
