Newly-appointed Microsoft partner group manager Dennis Klimashev`s initial focus will be on creating an awareness of the value of Microsoft`s partnership programme.
"We are striving to make our partners more profitable, to develop more innovative solutions, and to become truly global players that deliver value to our customers," he says.
Belinda Godfrey, small, mid-market solutions and partner group director at Microsoft SA, says the partner group manager is integral to all customer segments within Microsoft. She says this includes public sector, enterprise, small and mid-market audiences.
"As an organisation, we remain acutely aware of the value of our partners and with more than 6 600 partners, Klimashev will be a key link into our channel," says Godfrey.
Prior to joining Microsoft in 2001, Klimashev worked across a range of vertical industries including construction, mining, healthcare and retail in various consulting, strategic and managerial positions.
