MS brings OneNote to iPhone

iPhone users, say good-bye to the Notes app on your iPhone, as Microsoft Office is bringing its Office application, OneNote, to the smartphone device to allow for easier and more efficient note-taking while on the go, reports iPhone.TMC Net.

Now available for free at the Apple App Store, OneNote is a place for users to capture, store and review notes.

Thanks to Windows Live SkyDrive, files are backed up on the cloud and can be accessed by users from any location or device that has an Internet connection.

Oc'e broadens portfolio with Canon range

Oc'e, an international leader in document management, revealed it has added a complete range of Canon printers to its office products portfolio, says What They Think.

From January, Oc'e customers have been able to benefit from the proven performance of the Canon colour and black & white multifunctional devices, together with the support of the Oc'e sales and service organisation.

This marks a further step forward in the of combining both companies' product portfolios, following the successful completion of Canon's offer for Oc'e in March 2010.

Arvato gets first UK customer

Media and communications services provider Arvato digital services, a division of Arvato Bertelsmann AG, revealed that the British software superstore Downloadbuyer is the first customer in this country for its new Arvato Electronic Distribution (RED) software e-distribution platform, states Tech Zone.

One of only two authorised Microsoft e-distributors in Europe, Arvato gives Downloadbuyer for the first time in the UK, the ability to offer customers the full range of Microsoft Windows and Office products in download form.

The Arvato RED distribution platform is a breakthrough for online retailing by providing a unified, seamless interface between content and online stores.
