MS delays Dynamics CRM release
CMS Wire writes.
Last week, the technology giant quietly noted in a blog post that clients for mobile devices will not be available until the fourth quarter.
Microsoft revealed in February that clients for the devices - including the iPhone, iPad, BlackBerry and devices running Android or Windows Phone - would be available in Q2, as part of the service updates.
A Microsoft blog post here, uncovered by Mary-Jo Foley here, cites that old favourite “feedback” from customers and partners as the reason for the push-back, The Register reveals.
“After listening to the feedback from our customers and partners, we are delaying availability of Microsoft Dynamics CRM Mobile and cross-browser support,” Microsoft said.
“At the heart of the Q4 release, we are focused on delivering a more compelling customer experience in mobile and cross browser.”
The Dynamics update Microsoft has delivered features industry templates for wealth management, non-profit, life and annuity insurance sales as well as health plan sales. Support for SQL Server 2012 will be delivered in an update in August.
