MS offers third CRM5 preview
Microsoft has delivered a community technology preview (CTP) of the next generation of the company's Microsoft Dynamics CRM software, codenamed 'CRM5', reports eWeek.
This is the third CTP of the CRM5 technology and is aimed at software developers within the broad partner base of Microsoft Dynamics CRM, including independent software vendors, global system integrators, hosting partners and value-added resellers, giving them an opportunity to start early development and testing of their solutions for this new release, Microsoft said.
More than 400 select partners are engaged in the CTP3 programme, and that number will be expanded in the coming months, Microsoft said.
Aspect, Datapoint sign channel agreement
Aspect, a global provider of unified communications (UC) and collaboration services and software, has a signed a channel reseller agreement with Datapoint Ireland to expand its presence in the Irish contact centre market, states Call Centre Clinic.
Datapoint Ireland, an Irish-based systems integrator focused on the contact centre market, will be offering all of Aspect's UC applications for the contact centre that are powered by the Aspect Unified IP and PerformanceEdge platform products.
"Ireland is a significant market within the European contact centre industry and we are excited to be expanding our presence through this new partnership," says Mark King, Aspect senior vice-president, Europe and Africa.
Convergys, MicroAutomation ink deal
Global relationship management solutions provider Convergys has formed a non-exclusive alliance with MicroAutomation, a provider of call centre solutions, writes TMCnet.
“MicroAutomation has a long history of serving the government and key industry verticals with vital contact centre solutions,” says Mike Betzer, president of relationship technology management at Convergys.
“This alliance presents Convergys with the opportunity to further showcase our technology solutions and services to an impressive client roster working in customer-intensive industries,” Betzer adds.
