Both additions to System Centre 2012 suite, slated for release later this year, are necessary to help central IT departments keep pace with the requests of individual departments within their organisations.
V3.co.uk reveals that the new System Centre 2012 capabilities are said to offer a range of features that significantly improve what the 2007 products provide. These include enhanced capabilities for data centre and cloud management.
According to CRN, System Centre Virtual Machine Manager 2012 is available now as a downloadable beta.
It aims to provide standardised service modelling and configuration features and image-based management tools for managing business application services along with virtual machines.
