Ultimus Dashboard available

Ultimus, a provider of business process management (BPM) and workflow software and services, has released the Ultimus Dashboard for Microsoft SharePoint, which enables organisations to display key business and process reports for visibility across the enterprise.

The Ultimus Dashboard integrates business and process in a unified report, giving executives insight into activities within their individual departments or across the enterprise.

According to Gartner, "the popularity of business activity monitoring, combined with BPM tools, is expected to rise, because along with process awareness comes the need to monitor critical milestones in the business process."

iMarkup focuses on end-to-end automation

Web-based business process automation and reporting solutions provider iMarkup Solutions has released iMarkup Server Version 6. It incorporates an integrated document management and workflow automation system with storage, categorisation and search technology.

Developed to address the needs of enterprise users working with electronic forms and content, v6 builds on the previous version and its ability to distribute, route, review and improve information flow throughout the eForm and document life cycle, the company says.

JBoss releases Seam 1.0 solution

JBoss, a division of Red Hat, announced the general availability of JBoss Seam 1.0, an application framework for Web 2.0 applications that unifies and integrates popular service-oriented architecture technology, such as Asynchronous JavaScript and XML, JavaServer Faces, Enterprise JavaBeans 3.0, Java portlets, BPM and workflow.

Since its initial developer release, JBoss Seam has seen strong community interest and has played a driving role for a new standards initiative for Web Beans through the Java Community Process.
