MS unveils SAP connector

Microsoft has unveiled a connector that integrates Dynamics AX (ERP) with SAP's Business Suite ERP, states Campus Technology.

The connector allows business processes, such as financial consolidation, inter-organisational integration, and plant to be shared from a central SAP installation.

The integration can be customised with Microsoft BizTalk.

Jaba joins UC interoperability forum

Jabra, an audio solutions provider for unified communications (UC), has joined the Unified Communications Interoperability Forum (UCIF), reports Market Watch.

The Forum will enable the interoperability of UC hardware and software through inter-vendor openness and collaboration, with the development of open, standards-based solutions.

The UCIF is a non-profit alliance of worldwide companies working together to fully realise the potential of UC.

Epicor, Kodak deliver print solution

Epicor, an ERP solutions supplier, and Kodak are expanding into the print, publishing and packaging industry, says On Windows.

The agreement states Epicor will deliver Kodak's workflow and print-focused EMS Business software embedded with its Epicor 9 ERP solution, which is branded as Epicor for Printing and Packaging.

“We believe integrating these new technologies seamlessly as part of their overall business information system can increase performance and productivity for a wide variety of printing and publishing-related industries,” says George Klaus, Epicor chairman, CEO and president.
