MSN South Africa has announced a partnership with Aucor Active, an online auction Web site. The initiative is set to offer an easily accessible and simple form of online shopping, through MSN.co.za. Users are able to view the 10 "hottest" items on auction through the MSN home page and for further views, connect straight through to the Aucor Active Web site where users can place and track bids.
"Shopping is a key channel for MSN, and we are confident that Aucor Active`s products and services will offer MSN users an exciting and alternative shopping medium," says Mike van Eck, strategic revenue manager at MSN South Africa. MSN brings together a traditional form of face-to-face trading to a digital medium, and offering it to people all over the country at the same time.
