According to MTN, the new device “should” be available in stores next week Friday. Pricing will begin at R309 a month, with a 150MB data bundle included.
"Touted as one of the most innovative lifestyle mobile devices, the white iPhone 4 is a smartphone, lifestyle companion and digital assistant," says chief marketing officer of MTN Serame Taukobong.
"Additionally, our quality data and broadband offerings will give iPhone 4 customers unsurpassed access to the Internet and online applications.
“We understand that mobile communication needs are changing, and as a result, are exploring new products and services to ensure that we can provide customers with a steady stream of innovative phones that brings the mobile Internet to consumers' very own pockets," concludes Taukobong.
Customers are advised that there will be no pre-registration for the iPhone 4 and they will have to contact their closest MTN store.
