MultiCare uses MediTract

Six years ago, MultiCare Health System, the leading provider in the greater Tacoma, Washington market, faced a problem similar to that of many and health systems nationwide, says PR-inside.com.

"MultiCare is a very well run organisation, but we were really guessing at how many contracts we had," said MultiCare associate general counsel Laird Pisto.

MultiCare joins the number of hospitals and health systems that have used MediTract, a healthcare contract and document management provider, serving over 20% of the nation's hospitals.

Companies misplace contracts

According to a report in the Journal of Contract Management, 71% of companies couldn't find at least 10% of their contracts, says MSNBC.

Misplaced contracts mean you can't say with much accuracy what your company is obligated to or what you owe in money or services.

You could be violating contract terms you're not even aware of, leading to at least a damaged business reputation - and worse, legal damages and court costs.
