Hot on the heels of the merger announcement, Multimedia Warehouse is relocating to the Sunninghill premises of Siltek Group member, Memtek.
As part of an internal reshuffle, MMW recently moved out of the Siltek Distribution Dynamics stable and in with Memtek to form a new components division. The new company is branded Memtek-MMW and focuses on offering end-to-end component solutions.
"Disruption to our customer base will be minimal," says Tim Humphreys-Davies, national product sales director of Multimedia Warehouse. "Although we will be closed for business on Friday 28 July to process orders and facilitate our move, MMW-Memtek will be ready to resume business-as-normal on Monday 31 July.
"MMW customers will benefit from an extended product set and faster turnaround times, where a focused, smaller warehouse will provide improved service as well as access to a full component distribution business," says Humphreys-Davies.
"The companies will share front office logistics, as well as back office resources, including debtor management, creditors and IT resources," he says.
AS of 1 August 2000, MMW-Memtek can be found at 5 Belvedere Place, Eglin Road in Sunninghill, and contacted on (011) 800-7000.
