Dr Yvonne Muthien, MTN`s group executive of corporate affairs and company spokesperson, is leaving the group with effect from 30 November.
Muthien will take up the position of group executive director of public affairs and communications at Coca-Cola Africa, and will be based in Windsor, UK, from 1 December.
Muthien has been with the MTN Group for five years, during which time she established the MTN Foundation and served as the official company spokesperson, MTN said in a statement today.
"Yvonne has made a substantial contribution to the MTN Group," says MTN Group CEO Phuthuma Nhleko.
"Yvonne`s extensive experience will stand her in good stead in her work in Africa, a region in which MTN is firmly established. We would like to thank her for her considerable contribution and wish her well in her new position."
