MWeb aims to make amends to its ADSL terms and conditions by tomorrow, due to complaints from customers around capping.
Customer complaints came to light after MWeb unveiled a range of competitively priced, uncapped ADSL offerings last week.
“We are looking to make changes, but we don't see anything wrong with our terms and conditions, we stand by them. There are issues with wording and interpretation. So we are working on the structure to make them more intuitive and easy to understand,” she explains.
Holgate says MWeb was made aware of customer complaints around the terms and conditions through monitoring of its Facebook group “Free the Web”.
“The queries were mainly referring to capping. Our terms and conditions cover ADSL on the whole and we still do sell capped products. So when customers saw a basic capping they got worried,” she adds.
