MyGate announces industry-first accredited shopping cart directory

Johannesburg, 23 Mar 2007

MyGate Communications, the fastest growing payment gateway provider in South Africa, has announced its plans to launch an Accredited Shopping Cart Developer Directory on its Web site, with the directory listing going live on 2 April 2007.

Glen Ross, National Sales Manager for MyGate, says: "There are a large number of shopping cart solutions and developers in the marketplace which can make choosing an e-commerce solution a daunting and challenging task. The MyGate directory listing will be able to assist the consumer in making an educated decision, ensuring their investment is the right one."

You can access the accredited EC-commerce Developer Directory on MyGate's Web site. The listing provides a breakdown of information on the company and product.

A major benefit to merchants using a shopping cart on the MyGate Directory is that all the solutions listed are integrated with MyGate's payment gateway, therefore reducing developments costs which the consumer would have historically had to carry.

Choosing a shopping cart that is already integrated with MyGate also allows for a quick and easy setup. In most cases it is just choosing the MyGate solution.

Ross says: "Shopping cart developers will also gain major benefit out of this directory though the thousands of potential merchants viewing our Web site each month."
