Johannesburg, 28 Jun 2001

Navision has announced the release of the worldwide version of Navision Attain - a cost-effective, end-to-end business management solution for medium-sized companies.

Navision Attain builds and expands on the strong foundation of Navision Financials, an established business management solution characterised by simplicity, ease-of-use and adaptability. Navision Attain is the name for the business solution now ready for sale in Australia, Singapore and SA, and soon to be available in 22 other markets.

This latest and extended version delivers new financial management and multi-language capabilities, plus integrated functionality to support supply chain collaboration, e-commerce, customer relationship management (CRM) and service management. Navision Attain gives medium-sized companies the fastest way to realise their full potential and grow their business.

"Our customers face increasing demands from their customers, suppliers, distributors and partners," says Niels Bo Theilgaard, Executive Vice President, Product Organisation for Navision. "To stay competitive, our customers need a business management solution that enables them to share information, to make it easier for them to respond and adapt quickly to changing demands and market conditions. Navision Attain helps our customers connect their business to their customers, suppliers and partners so they can deliver great service, operate more efficiently and compete more effectively in a changing environment."

Navision Attain includes new functionality to help organisations streamline daily administrative tasks and use the Internet to respond quickly and effectively to new revenue opportunities. Navision Attain gives users simultaneous access to continuously updated online data. Companies can personalise relationships, collaborate in new ways and provide better customer service. Market and customer information is fully integrated with business and financial information so it`s easier for companies to identify new revenue generating opportunities, no matter what their business.

"Adaptability and flexibility are important to us, as our various operations around the world have different production and business requirements," says Navision customer Svend Thomsen, CFO for Oticon A/S. "With Navision Attain, we find that we can successfully adapt the software to suit the way we work - and not the other way around."

Navision SA MD Keith Mullan says: "The roll-out in SA has already commenced, with the Navision technical team being trained in Attain during June and part of July. Navision`s channel is being trained in July and August, in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban. The launch of the product will commence with a Gala Dinner on 19 September, at Kyalami Castle." Launches in the other major centres will take place in October.
