The Microsoft SQL Server option for Navision Financials is expected to be available in the first quarter of 1999. The solution will also take advantage of a number of other SQL Server 7.0 features, such as its backup/restore capabilities and administration and management features.

Because of this, customers who prefer Microsoft SQL Server 7.0 can now safely deploy Navision Financials using the Navision Financials Server (DBMS), and can make the transition to the new database when it becomes available.
