In a drive to extend its client services and support infrastructure throughout Southern Africa, Navision has opened a regional office in Natal. The official opening, which was held on Friday, 9 June at the new offices, proved to be a huge success with a large number of customers and newly appointed resellers attending the function.

Durban branch manager Jonathan Isherwood says: "We are extremely impressed by demand for Navision Software in KwaZulu Natal. More and more resellers in KwaZulu Natal are opting to support our product and are up as Navision Solution Centres (NSC`s). We are totally committed to training, supporting and certifying our NSC`s and by doing this, we will ensure that our customers are always able to find qualified NSC`s, with a sound knowledge of our business."

"Our NSC`s provide a quality that enable their customers to achieve competitive business advantage. Their aim is to provide applications that are appropriate and effective in the African context. In conjunction with our NSC`s, we are able to offer extensive pre- and post sales support to end-users in KwaZulu Natal," he concludes.

According to Navision Software South Africa managing director Keith Mullan, the opening of the office in KwaZulu Natal is just another step towards the Company`s success in Southern Africa. "We experienced an excellent year in 1999 in Southern Africa. It has also become evident that more resellers are opting to sell our product because we have a reputation for being first-to-market with advanced technologies in enterprise business solutions, and our goal is to achieve long-term viability by becoming the provider of the leading standard."
