Navision Software has once again been honored with two awards from Microsoft because of its solid history of successful integrations of eCommerce functionality. Navision Software`s Web Shop won the category "Best Web Biz Solution" in Microsoft`s Danish Solution contest - "MCSP Challenge". As winner in the Danish contest, Navision Software also progressed to Microsoft `s Nordic final of the "MCSP Challenge", and also won in the category "Best Biz Solution ISV".
By receiving these awards from Microsoft, Navision Software now becomes the official candidate from the Nordic region in the category "Packaged Application Partner" at Microsoft Fusion 2000, the leading event for Microsoft solution and service providers and business decision makers to be held in Atlanta on July 14-17.
"Navision Software is honored to be recognized to receive these awards from Microsoft," said Navision Software managing director Keith Mullan. "For us, this is a true validation of our strategy to provide end-to-end, 100 percent integrated e-business solutions that take into account total business processes, as opposed to the all-too-common approach of taking on non-integrated web storefront products that result in incoherent silos of information."
Navision Web Shop is completely integrated with the Navision Financials enterprise business solution and uses its business logic for ordering facilities, logistics and quotes. All customer and order data are transferred online to avoid re-entering data. Navision Web Shop supports the deployment of the Internet as a new trading channel for mid-sized companies without the usual costs of integrating data manually and undertaking HTML/CGI programming. The user can set up and maintain online shops using the same intuitive and consistent Windows 2000 graphical user interface found in Navision Financials.
